Faeces Analysis Definition:


Faeces analysis is a science which study faecal matters. This science permits looking for infectious germs parasites, virus or other pathologies from a medical point of view.

 

Fasces culture consists in cultivation of a sample and observing the dejection in order to notice any germs presence and establish a complete diagnostic of grastoinstestinal diseases.


Faeces analysis is also used in ecology to determine diets and identify individuals thanks to their genetic stamp.

Those containers can store or carry liquid or solid taken sample. Generally those containers are delivered with a spatula or a spoon. Caps of those containers serve as a handle for the spatula when it is attached.

Urine specimen

Addis count analysis


This analysis determines the red blood corpuscle flow (red cell) and white-cell which pass by urine. This technique counts caissons contained in sediment urine.

 

Theses elements are composed of cylinders: it is a different protein heap (former red-cell, white-cell and other proteins) they gather and constitute microscopic cylinders. Cylinders appear in renal tubes and uriniferous tubes. Each type of cylinder correspond to a defined kidney disease (nephopathies)

 

For that kind of analysis, containers having a 500 ml volume are necessary in order to collect the entire sample.

24 Hour Urine Specimen


That kind of analysis estimates some urinary biochemical elements like the creatine presence or reveal the proteinuria in mg/day. It is advised for the patient to stay not far away from the laboratory to make that sample.

 

The principle of this analysis consists in getting back the entire urines of the day and the night and this of the early hours. All the urine is collected in a bottle; we propose several sizes from 2L to 2.7L. A graduation is visible on the bottle in order to read rapidly quantity sampled.

 

Thanks to its handle it is also easier to move with the sampling. Brown bottles compose our product range; as a result you can bring the sample to the laboratory in a discrete manner. The bottle is blocked and agitated.

 

Once this step over with the help of a graduated test tube (2000 ml) volume is measured in ml and a proportion of the urinary creatinine is made.

Bacteriological analysis


They can detect the presence of a mineral substance (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride, phosphate, sulphate…) having a too important rate or other organic elements surplus. (Uric acid, amino acid, enzymes, hormones, vitamins) which are concentrated in the body.

 

That type of analysis brings pertinent diagnostic elements of a disease or a health problem. This typical exam is inevitable.

Urine analysis further to a laboratory sampling:


To make a urine analysis it is necessary to deposit a bottle or a clean and sterile recipient. Tubes need to be waterproof and shock resistant.

 

Lot numbers and use by dates are present on each product to ensure the continued supply of the sampling.

 

The urine can be analysed in the following 24 hours if they are conserved at 4°C. Analysis containers can have sampling volumes from 30 ml to 60 ml according to the market type whom is intended for.

Urine analyses further a home sampling:


Containers which have boric acid are used during the urine collection realized outside the medical laboratory.

 

The boric acid has the ability to stop the microbic proliferation it is a conservator thanks to its bacteriostatic activity: it conserves samples until 24h at room temperature.

 

With the boric acid urine samples have to be seed in the 2 hours following the sampling.

Cytological analysis


This analyze consist in analyzing with a microscope a urine sampling in order to look for and identify an eventual presence of bacteria.

 

Cytological analyse can identify urinary infections (cystisis and pyelonephritis) and know the bacteria which is responsible for. When a bacterium is detected, we made an antibiogram which will guide the doctor to an antibiotic prescription.

 

Urine samples are executed in straight containers which have different sizes from 30 ml to 125 ml according to patient requirements.

Gynaecological analysis

Speculum


This instrument is an examination tool used by gynaecologists; it expands the vaginal cavity in order to examine the uterine cervix and the vagina. Numerous exams and surgical interventions can be made from this cavity.

Round base tube


Round base tubes can be available for several types of culture: cells, chemical, biological and microbiological. They are used mostly in laboratories following the use made the material changes.

 

Indeed tubes in polypropylene have a thermal and chemical stability more important than polystyrene ones. Therefore if the tube need to be brought to the boil it is essential to chose polypropylenes ones.

Conical and flat base tubes


Conical tubes are often used to centrifugate solutions. Indeed it is easier to separate the precipitate and the supernatant in that type of tubes during the centrifugation.

 

Moreover, thanks to their flared shape, those tubes ease the solution decanting to analyze.

Liquid transfers


Serological pipettes


Graduated pipettes measure small sampling solution volumes (from 1ml to 50 ml). Generally that type of pipette is used with a propipette which aspirates the liquid and as a result it comes in the pipette.

 

Each pipette ended with a colour coded buffer there are different according to the volumetry taken.

Pasteur’s Pipettes


Those pipettes are unbreakable thanks to the one-piece moulding. They are used in chemistry and in biology for research. In chemistry it is not compulsory that the pipette is sterile on the contrary in biology it is fundamental.

 

They can be used to sample small volumes for analysis (refractive index, column chromatography to deposit the eluting blend) pipettes are manufactured in polyethylene because that material is inert towards many chemical compounded.

Autoclavables bags

Blood tubes transport


Self-adhesive Biohazard bags are 100% waterproof, they prevent leak risks in case of shocks but also external contamination during the tube transportation.

 

In order to assure an efficient follow up on samplings, a front pocket is planned to integrate the prediction established by the doctor with its sample. The bag closure is inviolable; the sampling is safe in its packaging.

 

Those bags could contain an absorbent or not. They can absorb the liquid poured in the bag in case of eventual shocks. A pre-opening was integrated to this bag model to open more easily samplings received by blood analysis laboratories.

Waste disposals


This type of material can salvage dangerous or cutting wastes avoiding infecting people who are in charge of their manipulations. Wastes disposals have a definitive and inviolable closure which can collect medical wastes in safety.

 

Needles and syringes containers have a blade which cut them when they entered in the salvage box. Thanks to its material in polypropylene it is shock-resistant and consequently to perforation.
